About Me

JOYANG is an Asian Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Canada, now based in the Bay Area, CA. His musical journey began in China, where he grew up immersed in the sounds of Jay Chou and Chinese pop ballads.

After immigrating to Vancouver, his musical palette expanded to embrace Jazz, R&B, and indie/pop music, creating a unique fusion of Eastern and Western influences in his sound.

Currently balancing a career in software engineering with his passion for music, JOYANG strives to create comforting melodies that resonate with listeners, offering solace even in life's darker moments.
